Post Re: [2011.1.24] HORN, AGAIN - New album
Rodeo Star Mate seems like the kind of track that only made the A-side to because it was a tie-in song as an opening theme, I can't see that fitting smoothly on ANY pillows album, though it's a decent song.

Edit: Also, based off of Movement and the samples of its B-sides, I'd say this album is going to have a ton of energy, a ton of emotion, and some really damn good production (if they keep the style from those b-side samples with that sexy guitar crunch, that is). I'm betting that a lot of people are going to see this album as a step in the right direction.

Idk Mare, the guitars these days sound relatively muddy IMO. The drums and bass are well mic'd and leveled out nicely though.

What will be on the bonus dvd? Live footage of something or will they make a PV for some other song on the album? *waits for the inevitable youtube previews*

I believe there is a high chance that it's just a PV for one of the songs, like we had with Pied Piper and Your Order.

Also, is Irene no longer his "beautiful" sun? Also note both "sun" songs are #4 on their tracklists. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!?!
Irene was so 8 years ago, Lily is his NEW sun.

bout time he got over that bitch

I'm hoping that Lily's song is better than Irene's

I wonder if EMERALD CITY is about The Wizard of Oz. Sawao is a fan of old American movies, after all.

EDIT: Ha, didn't read the thread.

Gross song titles. I hope the album will be good, but it really bothers me that they seem to take themselves far less seriously than they did 10-12 years ago.

It dosen't bother me, because as long as the music sounds good I don't get hung up on stupid shit like what the song titles are.

Their past two, three albums haven't really been that good to me. I haven't even listened to all of Pied piper or Ooparts, actually. I did listened to ooparts. Beyond the moon was amazing. Though the rest were ew. Pied Piper all the songs really suck... They should go back to experementing and just doing it for the fun of it. Not to be serious and better known.

Like GR, I immediately thought Seattle when I saw EMERALD CITY.
Gross song titles.
Yes. Especially "Limp Tomorrow." Find a better adjective, Sawao. Also, Sad Fad Love=-1 for this album.

The songs on Movement all sound all right though. Hopefully it's an indication of what's to come.
