I think sago has employees that speak english, considering they endorse musicians who speak english, and some of their luthiers speak english. They are trying to be an international company overall.

as for my friend, he is waaaay too busy to become a salesperson, and as for his japanese friend...he has a ton on his plate as well.

All Caos Specials are autographed by Manabe apparently....i remember seeing that somewhere

The Special will run you $6,310.52...they use Honduran wood, so they aren't just spiking the price due to the autograph.

The Standard will run you $2,480.69...


They are both expensive as hell...but Sago has some really talented Luthiers.

Fun Fact, the white guitar that Manabe was using in 05-06 (i think) that looks identical to his current guitar was actually a Gibson Melody Maker...but apparently it had a lot of problems, and was really beaten up, and broke on the plane to America during their tour. Then Sago made a replica for him, but with a much higher level of quality.

When I read that I was like, "Man I'd love to have a guitar signed by manabe", and then I remembered I have a guitar signed by Manabe, and Sawao, Jun, and Shin.
But since I can't afford to buy a guitar like that, I'll just have to accept that I won't get that poster.

Yea...It was prolly a double cut. some models of the melody maker have a double cut design as well, i just got confused.
