"]I always thought people saw KOOL SPICE as a breakthrough album because it was when they left Kenji behind and joined a new record label.

Wait a second, don't people usually count Please Mr. Lostman as the breakthrough album? :eh:
Well, I think in terms of sales, there were a couple of breakthroughs. Kool Spice probably brought in more revenue then the Moon Gold and White Incarnation. In the same way, Please Mr. Lostman brought in more revenue than Kool Spice AND got the pillows up on Oricon (well, at least in the top 100, xD).

Still, musically, White Incarnation is astounding. That's what I mean by 'breakthrough'. It was a lot better than Moon Gold, IMO (and basically the first thing they released that I would call REALLY GOOD and well though; put together. I think they worked really hard on configuring that album).

Still, Pantomime beats 90s My Life AND Moon Gold.

I really love them both, but there are more favorites on WI than Moon Gold, it just depends on which album I feel like listening to.

Also have to say the same for Kimi to boku Otsuki-sama. I think the original version is just too long and drawn out, the pacing is just too slow. I'm glad they picked it up a notch on the TB version, it worked wonders for it.
Really? In my opinion, the speed and tone they play it on Turn Back, as well as the way he sings it, loses that earnest, pained feeling of the original recording, and doesn't do the song and its lyrics true justice when you compare it to the original.
Maybe a little bit, I can see that, but the original just seemed to drag too long for me in a lot of places. One thing I did like about the original though, was near the end where he starts saying "Shitte hoshikute..." and it really starts picking up, I love that.

I also enjoy the TB-version over the original. But for me it's mainly the guitars that do it for me, they just feel like they have a little bit more color to them than the original and just set the mood.

I LOVE the tone Manabe gets in the original kimi to boku...possibly because it's a telecaster tone (high gain and zero tone ftw).

I actually wish I could change my vote now. I voted for both, but White Incarnation is better because it has Tonight.

Toniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....
