do you happen to have the list of tour dates? not that i'd be able to go to japan, but i'd just like to see when the shows are. maybe it's possible they'll come over to america during late/summer or fall. i really don't see any reason why they wouldn't with the success of the previous two tours

I'm with yah. Im saving up for school and moving out in the fall. No way I could afford too fly over too japan. Especially since I would spend at least 2 weeks there if I went since I've never been.
lets cross our fingers for a tour in the late summer/fall.

Awesome. I dont' really know the whole layout of Japan at all, but I asked on the pillows BBS what the closest concert to Kanazawa (the place where I will hopefully be spending my summer) is. XD

Once The Pillows recorded an album called "Wake up! Wake up!". It sounds like joke!
Hahaha maaaan this album sounds like another snorefest. I agree with Thiinline though on the band needing to pace themselves. Sayonara Universe was pretty awesome. [img]http://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-awesome.gif[/img] They should drop the bland power pop and do more slow songs with actual dynamics. What they're doing now just reminds me of America's own pro tools-driven, cookie cutter music industry fluff. You can't tell when one song ends and the other begins.

The thing is, as they've discovered, the fast, upbeat stuff sells. They're still capable of doing that right, but they end up stuffing too much filler of it on albums where they could do some different stuff. But again, My Foot almost went in that direction.
