i don't see what you guys are talking about in the pictures, but it sounds to me like what you're describing is a neckerchief, and it is definitely hipster (at least in my area).

That's all I have to say about scarves.
Sawao is looking a bit too hipster these days. I liked the 97~98 look the best, but I miss the 93~95 suits/hats/etc. look.
In the end, looks don't matter. I don't care if a band looks cool or not as long as they can make good music. Modern bands are way, way too obsessed with image.

That's crazy. Earlier today Knifin said scarves were gay and I mentioned Bob's iconic look on the cover of Blonde on Blonde.
Bob had more talent though.
And music has always been about fashion. You crazy? Robert Johnson spent more on his pinstripe suit than he did his guitar. He wanted to impress the ladies. That's what music has always been about. The only thing that has changed in the last few decades is fashion becoming more integral with music. [b]That[/b] is something I object to. You shouldn't have to be wearing a suit for jazz or a cowboy hat for country. You can be playing adult contemporary pop and looking like GG Allins for all I care.
