And after that amount of time, if you still don't enjoy it, your opinion's just as invalid.[/quote]

Been through it about 4 or 5 times already. Some songs that really stick out are Hello Girl, Ame ni Utaeba, and You are.
This album is pure win.

well i didn't buy the album but i just downloaded it off of slsk yesterday. actually, i have to give it more credit than i previously thought. i simply love This is My Fashion, Kiss Me Baby and Ame ni Uteba, my favroite songs from the album. Sayonara Third Planet was also pretty good i thought and so's the original version of Want to sleep for. so have my opinions on this album changed after listening to the entire thing? yes. some of the songs are really awesome i msut say. do i like it better than any of the other albums? no. i don't consider it their worst album, i just consider it my least favorite overall.

good to see people liking it, at least. if you listen to it a few times and don't like it, you're a heretic, but we won't kill you for it.

I like white incarnation and moon gold. But I've always been a fan of newer stuff and middle stuff more.
Sometimes you gotta ask yourself if you like the stuff that doesnt grab you right away just because you feel obligated too.
I mean some say that you just have too listen too it awhile and eventually it will grow on you. But this is true for almost any kind of music. Listen with an open mind and if you listen enough you'll like anything.

Popular opinion here is that Moon Gold sucks? Wow, I have been gone a while. Anyway, I definitely enjoy Moon Gold. My favorite cut on the album is Ame ga futekitta you na ki ga suru. Wonderful song. Also, big ups to Asoko he kaeritai.

Always good to have an old poster back. I remember in a thread back in the day (before the board got erased) we concluded that Moon Gold wasn't necessarily bad, but it does not feel relevant or something. It didn't feel as natural as say Pantomime, 90s My Life, or White Incarnation.
That may have had to do with it being their first album on a major label
Anyway, I do enjoy about half of the songs and tolerate the rest. I also really like the b-side Kimi no boku o-tsuki-sama.
for me it's
1) Kimi to Boku to o-Tsuki-Sama (b-side)
2) This is My Fashion
3) Ame ni Utaeba
4) I Need Somebody
5) sayounara daisan wakusei

I remember waiting in Culen's queue for Single Patricia for like 2 weeks back in 2004. So worth it though. Ahh memories...

i have the full discography
it took me ages to collect, and now what i'm hunting is that final scan (for the girlfriend single's lyrics). Lorelai is the only pillows song not romanized.

hopefully i'll be there soon too. i don't know why i didn't use soulseek before though. i was so happy when i found patricia. and let me just add, the original is friggin awesome. i mean, it's pretty much an entirely different song from the album version. i love the drums in it though, a lot. it reminds me of jamaica or something carribean.
but getting back on topic, that's of course where i got the rest of Moon Gold. again, it really is an all right album once you listen through it a few times
