Yeah, I figured someone would bring that up. That's only one song from their ENTIRE tour.
Oh, and the songs at Brush Square Park don't count since the event was so small.

1) I HIGHLY doubt the pillows (or people related) read through the myspace comments, translating every one to see if the fans have any concerns related to their setlists.
2) Email, when you want to something done, is VASTLY inferior to the regular old postal service. Something written in pen. A picture, a drawing. Smiley faces. Yeah, it's harder. But it's well worth the effort. Get out your writing utencils, paper, a stamp, an envelope.
Wonder why online petitions are, for the vast majority, worthless? It's because it's as easy as hell to type something out and click your mouse (or even have a program do it for you).
Writing is personal, meaningful, and just a better plan in general.
What more would the pillows love than reading poorly written letters from America with kana and kanji that looks like it was done by a child?
The translating will be hard...but Mare, and others, if you could help out (which it looks like you're doing) that'd be awesome.
Everybody else, just paste it into notepad/textedit, increase the size, print it out, and write your letter from that. Add buster-kun drawings and random pillows in-references as needed.

I'm not sure that bombarding them with emails would be the most well-recieved approach - I think a lot of people probably get annoyed with an inbox full of tons of emails about the same thing.
But aside from simply pointing them to IM and saying that most everyone here agrees with what you're saying, I can't think of a better plan for what you want to achieve at the moment. Ah well.
I can write my own email. Just point me where it needs to be sent, and I'll get around to it at some point.
Same here, just tell me where to send a e-mail to and I'll get it done.
well, we want to do it when we have gotten enough people interested in this to actually have a visible impact, so everybody email me that wants me to write a message for them. so far i have three people. we need more than that though. if you can write your own, that's even better, as i'm sure i can only write so many letters before they think it kind of sounds like the same person wrote all of them (hahah).
i'll let you guys know when we have enough people (i'm shooting for fifty D: but that may lower if this doesn't get going). once we have enough, we'll arrange a time period to send the emails...we won't want them all sent the same day, but within like a week, with several every day may be enough to do the trick.
and i won't say in the full thing "most of your fans," but "a lot of your fans."
maybe we could sticky this?

I'd kill to hear their older albums played live. Girls Dont Cry, Girlfriend, Monochrome Lovers, Killing Field, ect... or at least stuff from their recent albums. If you watch the vids fromk Japan, they play stuff from Smile, Thank You My Twilight, Happy Bivouac...I'd like to hear more than just Stalker, ROSS, Blues Drive Monster...
in short, im up for this petition.

NEVER FIND... I hope the pillows play this song on their next US tour. It'd probably confuse some of the newer fans but it'll still be a blast. I'd also like to hear the acoustic versions of Trip Dancer, ICE PICK, and Fool On The Planet. I really hope this works.
Count me in. I've got two e-mail addresses.

Wouldn't it be smart to get them to come to America a little more often than, say, ONCE A YEAR, before we start with this shit?
An interesting note that someone brought up before is that they aren't that big in Japan? They seem fairly big to me from the Japanese concerts I've seen on video, but if that's not true, then maybe it will be easier (and more productive) for us to say, "Hey, there are a lot of fans here. We want you to come. And often. In bigger venues."

Time for an arena tour of the 150 biggest cities in US / Canada
But seriously, they need to come to Atlanta next time...and why not Toronto, Boston, Philly, and Houston while they're at it
Edit: Oh, and Knoxville

Seriously, though, if you're coming all the way to America, don't you think it might make some sense to play more than, say, six venues?

I'm hoping that they bring some of their friends on their next tour. Secret Secret won't be there lol. I hated them so much.
It'd be cool if the pillows went on tour with the bands that were on the SYNCHRONIZED ROCKERS album. It'd be nice to see Noodles since they are good live.

yeah, i'd love if they toured with noodles again.
i do agree that snail mail would have a better impact... it's how they found this site. =P and even though i'm not interested in hearing the oldest songs, and though i don't think there's a high chance of said songs being played here, any support we show for them will probably still help convince them to expand their north american tours.
and mare, i highly recommend you have your japanese teacher or someone (i'm not exactly volunteering myself, because you would get better advice from a native speaker) look at what you write before you send anything... i saw some errors/unnatural phrasing. and please don't use the word 'otaku'... you're saying something like 'the supernerds love the songs from flcl' - i don't think that's the appropriate tone.
