What?! How can you not like Colorful Pumpkin Fields?! You have to be kidding me.

I am seriously considering ditching the "indie" look in favor of early pillows clothes. Specifically, Sawao's goofy, early 1900s-style baseball boy outfit, as seen in the Bokura no Hare Suisei vid, is beyond awesome. And Pee in the hat and striped shirt. Awesomeness.
I would characterize it as

Old: 1990-1996

Mid: 1996-2002

New WTF?!: 2003-Present
I second the year corrections and vote MID.

To me mid is 1997 to 2000 and that was their best years musically in my opinion.

In the recent period, there is shit like Bad Dreams, Rock'n'Roll Sinners, and Degeneration that make me want to punch Sawao through a locked door.
:shred: :shred: :shred:

Thinline's dates were what I was thinking when I voted mid, as well.

PML came out in 1997.

PL came out in 2003.

So if you mean...

era 1 (Pantomime - LF) | era 2 (PML - TYMT) | era 3 (PL - current)

you are correct.

the first movement definitely wins hands down on clothing/hair style. the second movement wins on music style, with the first and third movement tied closely behind in second. their new music is by no means bad or meh or lower quality, but they have done better in the past.

That was my rationale, too.

It would've fit perfectly after Girls Don't Cry... After the fade out, the opening to PML would've been really cool. Oh, well.
