ok i read the post, it makes more sense now. Still when my band gets famous we're gonna put albums out like hot sauce baby.

there's one band i know of that puts out a new ep every month. USA

That's alright. I really hope you do. Somebody needs to stick it to the industry...But the fact is, record companies have a stranglehold on the industry right now - so much so that THEY decide what is popular and what is not. It's sickening. Bands like clouds mentioned, who put out an EP every month, will never make it very far, and if they do, they will have their balls in a vice by some record label - needless to say, they won't be putting out so many albums. The relationship between creative control and popular success is a perfectly inverse one.
