Why not leave the best for last?

Why the hell would they go to Mexico? If they have little popularity here, how much would they have in fucking Mexico?

Why wouldn't they? You don't think they show FLCL in Mexico? When it comes to Japanese bands they have about as much popularity as anyone else does here in the states. If a Japanese band can play a gig in New York and end up getting pushed up to headliner at the last minute because 90% of the people at the venue that night came to see them rather than who was suppose to headline, that's about as good as it gets for a Japanse band in the US. At least as things stand right now. Also, if you look at their official site and can manage to weed through all of the spam crap on the Englsih BBS, you will see quite a few people posting there from Mexico.

I'm not saying this is legit, I don't know if it is or not but if they are going to tour the states again this year, they may as well hit Mexico too. I just hope they don't drink the water.

Can't they just do another US tour and go to cities they skipped the first time? (like, um, Atlanta)

If they're going to a place like Mexico, then there's a good chance that they'll come to Atlanta, Boston, and possibly other places. Even Hawaii, since Shin-chan got married there.

i honestly think their north american tour is going to be MUCH bigger this year. they had such a huge turnout in 2005, so they'd be very smart to expand tour cities. i'm sure they'll come back to places like new york, chicago,a nd seattle, and of course probably new venues such atlanta, detroit, maybe somewhere like tampa. and if you'realready in the US, why not go to mexico? it seems plausible. hell, they might as well even go to canada while they're at it :P

and by the way, the pillows are not returning to ACEN in chicago this year, so i'm sure many of you are happy for that, lol

Excactly. I highly doubt they'd haul their asses all the way to Mexico with out doing at least a few shows in the states.

If they do Anime Boston, then I'm going! However, if they played at the Avalon maybe they can do their "My Foot" material. God I wanna hear "Sayonara Universe" live!

I really don't think their trip here was justifiable. You would think they have better things to do than play club gigs in another country when admission was what, $15? I doubt many people would go to their show in Mexico. I mean, if this country has undrinkable water, I doubt there is a whole lot of access to japanese media, or internet.
