I don't remember what their bass sounded like since it was usually drowned out by nonsensical screaming and feedback.Those vocals couldn't be more annoying if they were coming from the ring wraiths from LOTR.

For some reason, I don't think the bass is the reason why the pillows aren't as good as they used to be....

Don't just hate on Sawao. Everything has been subpar lately. I mean, I like the Third Eye, but these b-sides aren't exactly She is Perfect and Beautiful Picture.

I sorta agree. I think a lot of the change has just been on that fact that they're stuck in the "mid-tempo" area...The older stuff was faster and more upbeat, and sometimes more interesting because of it.
Oh hell, what am I saying. I love all of it. A lot.
