Please Mr. Lostman...for win.
The thread states favorite album, but the actual poll title says best album. So what is it? because there is a obviously huge difference between a persons belief in what is the best and what is thier favorite. Honestly I have diffrent awnsers for what I think is there best album to date and what is my favorite album to date. If you can clear that up terra, I let you know what think right away.
Really, don't complicate life dude.

It's so fucking hard to pick a favorite. Each album has something special to it. Some more than others, but you like at least one song of each, and that's enough for a descent/mediocre album. Unless the rest is COMPLETE shit.

Three they used for the FLCL soundtrack was their best stretch of albums to me. But one is hard, it's always been a mix CD for me.

As much as people say Penalty Life sucks, I still think it's better than Good Dreams. Penalty Life stands out and they try something a little different and I kind of dig it, but Good Dreams is somewhat repetative and a little too poppy.

I have to agree with that. Only thing though is that I place GD and PL on the same level. To me, both had about the same amount of songs that I enjoyed.

If you're talking technical terms, I'd say Living Field was the best.
However, I enjoyed listening to Happy Bivouac more, mostly because of the unique style.

I am being stupid. Happy Bivouac has always been my favorite album due to its variety of songs and the completeness of the albums sound. In fact I thought I was one of few who appreciate this album as much as I do. I figured every one would vote for PMLM or LB. Also honestly speaking I do feel sometimes that LB is probally thier BEST album, simply because it has a perfect arc of completeness from begining to end. Granted HB rocks a little harder, (thats just my style. I like to rock) but LB in a way is lot like SGT. Peppers on how it sounds as a whole experience. Mabey on a different day I would say HB is my favorite and thier best album and that could be very well true. Hey, I dont care what anybody says good dreams could be up there too.

Living Field, with PML at a close second and Happy Bivouac, Little Busters and Smile duking it out for a distant third.
