zorahk !!

thanks a lot man, you're being my hero here. i've waited so much for this dvd to be translated.

about the grammar, i also thank you for trying to follow the words without missing their true meaning. this will help me a lot, 'cause i'm about to translate this to brazillian portuguese.
i know that the more a text is secondary translated the more it looses it's true meanings. but that's all i have: your translation.

i'll do my best in it, then synch in the video and create a .srt file to be played with it, as i've already started. then i'll share it to people in brazil. i'm sure many fans here can't speak english. i'll also ask some friends for help when i have doubts.
probably gonna post something here too, asking about any details.

once again, thanks a bunch!

Now we just need to upload the DVD with added english subtitles onto youtube[which would be awesome].

There's still two more chapters unfinished, unless I missed something (13 total)...

I have been wanting to work on this but, well, I obviously can't make any promises. ;_;

They're unfinished because I just got back from Japan two weeks ago and couldn't work on them.

Now that I'm back, expect me to try and finish the last bit.
Don't worry, I haven't forgotten.

Also, I won't upload it onto youtube, but I will make an SRT for you to use with your own files.
I won't upload out of respect for the pillows, who have done me numerous favors, such as given me free concert tickets, signed my pantomime (including by ueda kenji, see profile pic), etc, etc.

Please understand.

Post Re: Subtitles for Walkin' on the Spiral(DVD)
ok, i'm starting to have some doubts tryin to understand and translate some details to my language.
I'll say some of them here. could someone help me?

before zorahk starts putting his hands on it:
Around 3 minutes, when they're altogether drinking, shin-chan says: I like dry! what's should that mean? even google couldn't help me.

...

in part 4, still before zorahk:
yamanaka: I guess I know because I'm doing it but, it was an uncommon band. A band like band. Really.
i really don't know what sawao is talking about here. doing it? what's it? And what's a band like band? for me band like band would be an ordinary band, but that goes against what he said right before it. still, when he says band, is he talking about the pillows? guess so, huh?

...

Part 5; in 22 minutes there comes:
RECORDING at
BRITANNIA ROW St.
St. means Street or Studio?

any help will be appreciated. i still got some more doubts and will post them later.

thanks!

Japanese beer styles are described as "dry," such as Asahi Super Dry, a very popular beer in Japan.

Post Re: Subtitles for Walkin' on the Spiral(DVD)
Ugh, this totally needs to be finished. I was putting it off and then unexpectedly my dog died of liver cancer which has caused me problems both emotionally and financially...kind of explains why I haven't been on the site since september.

But I haven't forgotten about it and it will happen, just might take a bit longer...
I'll try and take a stab at it this weekend, I can probably finish the last few chapters in one sitting if I really put my mind to it, then the problem becomes making an SRT file, I'm not really an expert in fansubbing so if any of you guys are or know people who are, let me know so we can make a file we can all use to watch the movie!

yeah, making the .srt file really takes time. and that can be made by many other users, which isn't the case of the translation. i'd advice you to just finish it then if you wanna help me with my doubts in my translation i'd be really grateful :o
