Re: New single - Rodeo Star Mate 01/27/10 I'm glad they found a new genre to play with. the song was fun and definitely has heart in it. I'm digging the direction of their new stuff. The fun honky country west stuff is cool. Good way to kick me out of my dreary daze. This song is like "hey kick back, have some fun". Cant say if I was full out depressed it'd have the same effect but when i was expressionless and now I'm smiling.

Re: New single - Rodeo Star Mate 01/27/10 It's a nice fun song, nothing too amazing. Part of me wishes it wasn't so short, but the song was fast paced to begin with so it kind of makes sense. That makes me think it's a somewhat odd choice for a single.

It's alright. I like it, but it's what you'd [i]expect[/i] from the pillows these days. I had a small little sliver of hope that this would suddenly be something awesome, but I guess I have to wait until the album (or next single).

Re: New single - Rodeo Star Mate 01/27/10 This is great!  Catchy, too. I was hoping we'd hear something like Primer Beat again. If the next album has a few tracks like this I'll be cool with it. BUT they can't all sound the same. Also, I wish Sawao would do something about his hair. Seriously. But I think this might be a sign of good things to come.

Not so sure I agree that it's single material, though. I'm hoping for at least one or two more singles before we get another album, though, but I'm definitely digging this stuff! Also, CDJapan is saying January 20th, not 27th, for this and Lostman go to Budokan. I might be mistaken, though. Was it always due the 20th? Am I misreading the site? I do that...
