Well, the pillows have already remade One Life (Scarecrow) and Last Dinosaur (sono mirai wa ima), so it's just a matter of guessing which classic song they'll repackage this time around.

I don't think Scarecrow sounded too similar to One Life, but I see what you're getting at. Being around 20 years with 16 albums, your level of creativity might decrease a bit. What the pillows need to do is what they've always done: keep it fresh and different. It's time for another stylistic change. They've been riding the same formulatic (is that a word?) rock for the past 3 or 4 albums now. It's time to switch things up and do something different. Maybe Sawao's trying to play it safe. I mean, album sales are up. But I think if they want to continue to make good music, they need to get switch things up and go outside their current comfort zone.

It was a joke. But if there's any hope for a good pillows release, it might be in single form. The Third Eye was great.

It may have been a joke, but I've noticed more samey-sounding songs in the past few releases regardless. The only real offensive one though was Fighting Pose. Bottom line is I want to see the pillows get out of their current comfort zone on this next album, and hopefully this upcoming single.

PV was posted on Youtube. I'm impressed, the song reminds me a lot of Terminal Heaven's Rock and Primer Beat. Manabe's got a classic solo, pretty cool video itself. Hopefully it's a sign that good things are on the way.

Also, it appears the pillows have been casted into a rock/alternative subsidiary of Avex Track called Tearbridge Productions, or at least that's what the video says.

This was an okay song, but it's not single worthy. This is one of the "fun" songs that the pillows would have ended an album with in their heyday.

Pros: it's a little different, not a bad song, cool video, OMG TELECASTER SAWAO, short
Cons: Kinda bland for a single, Sawao's hair
