But any one of us sending it to you is option C; with option B being slsk or torrents etc., and option A being buying it yourself. If you choose option A and follow through, that would be killer. I would download it from you, because I would know where and when to find it. So what if someone on slsk or wherever gets it up first; I could be appreciative of [i]your efforts[/i]. I could extend my thanks, and your enthusiasm to contribute for us would go over in a big way.

2) Doing something like this, then only allowing people from this forum to access it seems like a dumb move. Unless you really need to watch your internet bandwidth (if you ever get close to approaching bandwidth caps)...again, this is just dumb. Yes, I know it feels good to have something no one else has (Unfortunately it'll be a pillows DVD rip, rather than something truly valuable, like say...the Special CD)...but only offering it to some elite group (which we're not) is just sort of dumb, and un-fan-like.

Well, I guess I'd say not paying for merch, then spreading it all over the place is quite un-fan-like, but whatever. I just think it's always really dumb when people hoard material only for themselves, for no reason whatsoever.

The new pillows DVD won't get you laid, won't make you the most popular kid in school, and it won't make you guitar virtuoso. It's just DVD footage. I speak for myself, but I'll probably watch it, put it on the external hard drive, and never touch it again unless I want to do another audio mashup, or unless it was really really good. Even though I have a 1TB drive sitting here, 4.7GB of an non-rare concert DVD just seems like a waste.

@1) Converters/Compressors AREN'T LIGHTYEARS AWAY. I think it would be a good idea, after you download it, you can compress it, then delete the original, or you can keep a full quality backup. If YOU want to, some people MAY/MAY NOT want to keep a full quality rip. I'm just leaving the ISO in original form without the region code so that people can do what they want with it. Speak for yourself man.

@2) It's not really that dumb, its just whimsical. We can get at it before the other l33chers, its eventually going to get hosted as a torrent. Its nice just being able to share it between ourselves. I never said we're an elite group, we're just a group. Shouldn't we have some members only goodies?

2) I consider anything put out by the pillows to be "goodies for everyone." What if Moletown was doing this? Wouldn't you feel like the group sharing it (and excluding you) was being kinda immature about it?
3) That wasn't directed at you. It was a general "Hey, this is no different than any other pillows release. It won't solve anyone's problems, it won't write my Sociology paper for me. It's just a DVD."
