 Re: the pillows general thread
Last night they performed a new song called "Boku no tomodachi". Also, they performed She looks like new-born baby and Pulse for the first time.

 Re: the pillows general thread
It was the show last night at Shinjuku Loft with the band "wash?". I didn't get a ticket because from what I sampled of "wash?", they aren't my thing. In retrospect, maybe I should have gone. Oh well. I'm gonna try to go to the October show in Shimokitazawa. The band "ArtTheaterGuild" is the opening act and I really like them.

They should play that song more. And they should play it when they come to America next year, too.

 Re: the pillows general thread
Scored a ticket to the October 1st "CLUB Que Shimokitazawa Twenty-third Anniversary [THE TOKYO 23]" show. It's a small venue with a capacity of only 280 people. I waited for the second that ticket sales went live and was luckily able to get one, though they literally sold out in about 1 minute. It was a super close call. I'm also really looking forward to seeing ArtTheaterGuild.
In a few days, sale for the Third Movement Tour will begin. It should be easy to get tickets to that one compared to this.

 Re: the pillows general thread
(I already posted this picture on the fanpage, so some of you have probably seen it, but...) Check out this cool poster for the upcoming tour. https://www.instagram.com/p/BYHuqNQja5d/Wouldn't it be cool if they release vinyl versions of those albums during the Third Movement tour? The Collectors are releasing some of their albums in vinyl format for the first time, so hopefully the pillows will follow suit. What they're holding in the picture might just be over-sized jackets for promotional purposes, but we can hope.

 Re: the pillows general thread
on one hand i would be psyched to for some pillows vinyl but on the other, i cant afford dat shit.
sooo hopefully the band will hold off for a while if they're gonna reissue more than a few records. i doubt that they're gonna be pressing all 21 of their albums but i wouldn't say it's impossible, since Spitz basically just did that a few months ago (although Spitz are a much more popular band).

916, folks. Just 2 more years until the 30th anniversary extravaganza. It's a bit early, but is anyone else planning on making a trip for 2019?

 Re: the pillows general thread
My wife and I have been talking about taking a kid-free trip sometime relatively soon. We figured somewhere like Japan or Australia would be safer than Europe right now. Would love to plan it around the 30th anniversary, barring a world war brought on by Kim Jong-Un. And Happy 916 everyone!
