hey, awesome pictures there. i'm glad you took 'em because i lost my camera during my trip up. It's especially cool because i blogged talking about these people i met, and then, you and your friends happened to be it. I was the kid who was like 'omg kim deal' with the red shirt. Awesome show, and again, well done on the pics.

Yeah, I totally remember you. How about that tease on Kim Deal, eh? Haha. We were so sad that they didn't play the whole song, but it was cool that they did it just for us.

I guess I'm kind of hard to miss. Though I am kind of short... It would have been nice to be about five inches taller at that show.
They also played "Kim Deal" at the Knitting Factory for about 5 seconds. Just a tease though and I'm pretty sure I saw Manabe give the crowd the finger, but maybe not..
Do you think he was mad? Heh, my friend actually started the chant for Kim Deal... He couldn't believe it picked up, and he couldn't believe they actually played a little bit of it. I hope it didn't make Manabe mad. When we talked to Sawao after, we told him (in Japanese) that we started the chant, and he thought that was awesome.

Isn't that the song that they left off of the 15th Anniversay Concert DVD?

I wonder why they (apparently) dislike it. I thought they were put off because only like two people actually knew the words. Well, they can play what they want, i suppose.
I watched FLCL today and i realized that the concert would've been that much better had i watched it beforehand. What memories.

No, they weren't mad. They were laughing and smiling when they did it. They probably knew they were teasing us or at least those who were requesting it.
