The link that Mellie posted is for stand-alone DVD players, not computer DVD drives. It'd be worth just taking a look there to see if you have a DVD player that's hackable. Mine was amazingly easy to do. I just had to punch in some 4 digit code on my remote to access this hidden region menu, and now my cheap $50 DVD player is region free.

Sweet. I'll do that, then ask for DVDs for christmas. Finally, Christianity does something for ME.  If I were baby Jesus, I would totally have wanted the new US tour dvd instead of myrrh.

Excactly. These codes are for stand alone players and the codes are easy. I hacked all three of our DVD players using these codes, all different brands.

Thank God for Videohelp, or I would never have any of thier DVDs to watch. I mean i would get them, it would just be a pain to drive an hour and 10 minutes whenever I wanted to watch them.
