I just got home from Knitting Factory to watch GoGo and my dad told me something in the car ride on the way home:
"the pillows are coming in February"
I ask him how he knows this and he explains to me that while waiting at the bar he talked to a girl from the company (Benten?). I think she helped with the pillows tour last year or something. Works for Japan Nite? I'm not 100% sure.
She tells him that they are probably coming...But not necessarily the Knitting Factory, but somewhere in NYC in February.

So I guess the only thing we can do is keep a look out for a possible american tour early next year.

If that happens to come true (ack at the Ben Ten thing), THAT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME.

Well Sawao did say he wanted to come back early next year, so this is awesome. If true, good to know they are already working on some tour dates.

I can help them book a Boston date if they need it. My friend Robby Roadsteamer knows a lot of the club owners there. I can probably do either the Middle East in Cambridge or the Paradise.

A Boston and New York concert would rock, cause i could go to both of them.

This is great news! I know they mentioned coming back in the spring, but I expected a date around april. the tour would happen around the beginning of the spring semester so I wouldn't miss much in my classes. I just hope it's not too cold in NYC in february.

I'll keep a look out for tour dates. Hopefully the official website will announce them soon.

I just checked the whiskey site in hopes that they'll repeat there, but the only date for next year they have is on feb 4 and it's a band I have never heard of. But it's still way early.

The Knitting Factory is such a shitty dive, I have no idea what virtues you people see in it. It's small (both the audience and the stage), it's crowded, and it's hot. The whole damn place is too dark, and it's shoddily built.

But I suppose a crappy venue is a small price to pay to see the pillows.

I was afraid that was going to happen to me during the summer, but they decided not to come. Now I'm going to get to see them in America, and if I get an internship in Japan, I'll probably see them there too (assuming they tour in Japan during the summer...if not, I'll probably be in Japan next school year).

KF isn't a good spot...but it's not crazy busy and probably isn't too expensive to rent out. So bands coming to America for the first time, it wouldn't be a bad place to play.

Then after they play there for like traditional reasons or something.

I would love concerts in Philly or NYC. I could go to them.

If they come to LA I'm there.
