Any Ideas?
Im making a short film for school, and i was thinking about using one or two (mabey three) pillows songs in it.
Roughly the film is about a young man who goes to NY city and attempts to reclaim the girlfriend he loved and lost. Its only about 8 - 9 minutes long. There are a couple conflict scenes, and a few more mellow dialouged scenes to work with.
I was thinking of using "kouen ~ koukan no warutsu (twilight park waltz)" off of Kool Spice, "That house" and "My Girl (fiction version)" for the more suttle parts. Then for conflicts scenes mabey "Going down, Sunday or Ice Pick.
Mabey you guys and girls have some other suggestions for me. I was also thinking about what other songs would be cool to see in a film. Its a guilty pleasure, but I love to see no substance added to a hong kong style fight scene.

I think "Thank you, my twilight" would make a good ending song for when the guy gets the girl.

1. I hate to be a spelling nazi, but "subtle", not "suttle".
2. Going Down, Sunday, and Ice Pick don't really come across as being "conflict" songs. Maybe Advice or Come Down (maybe instrumental).
3. Props for even THINKING of That House. Really.
4. Kanojo Wa Kyou and Thank You My Twilight are excellent choices. But I think it would be great to see Shroi Natsu etc.
5 Although the pillows are awesome, keep in mind your audience. They might go "Oh this is really appropriate music. Nice." OR "WTF Japanese in an English movie?" And that's all they'll think about. So I'd try to limit the pillows song frequency.
6. If you CAN, try to include a scene in which a radio is playing Runners High in the background. It doesn't have to be focused on the music, just have a scene that has Runners High on the radio. You must.
Thank you.

tiny boat is a good song to use. Made a music video of it for my senior film project, it's really nice. (The original version mind you)

I know, its such a great song but know one ever really talks about it. But I thought it might work nicely.
