 Re: Concerning Penalty Life... Hmm... I've always liked Lonesome Diamond. I guess Mole Town, Phantom Pain, Noboranai Taiyou and the scar whispers never really did it for me. I think I've said before that I wanted I Know You to be a pinch slower, but I no longer think that, as it is a pretty darn good song. AI WO MOTTO  In high school, I had the translated lyrics for Moon Marguerite cut and pasted onto one of my folders.  I drew a quick sketch from a Nintendo Power of Cream the Rabbit (and Cheese) next to it, lol.

Re: Concerning Penalty Life... No one seems to have mentioned Freebee Honey. The energy! Solo! Vocals! I think it's one of Sawao's best vocals all time.
But I agree that Moon Margaruite is probably the best song in this album.
The only things I complain about are Noboranai Taiyou and Phantom Pain. And that's why I disagree with TidusAuron12, and say that Smile is more solid album than Penalty Life.
edit: Altough it's sligthly offtopis, I have to mention that Terminal Heaven's Rock B-sides are awesome!

Re: Concerning Penalty Life... For a long time I wasn't a fan of Penalty Life but I reading you guys posts made listen to it again and the album really isn't that bad. Songs like the Sun that will not rise, Phantom Pain, and Lonesome Diamond rock pretty hard.
BTW is it just me or does the chorus of Lonesome Diamond sounds similar to Weezer's "Mykel and Carli"?
