Well its not so much as we play both, Its a balancing act. Since we havent even played any Nine Miles stuff (and never will to many instruments) Its been pure Pillows with our stuff.

Our songs are not reggae thats why iam listening to Nine Miles to try and find some way to mix Rock and reggae. Without it sounding like crap.

What my method is, instead of a constant guitar loop, i use the same loop throughout the song but add in a bunch of power cords and mini solo's.

Its very tricky but the sound is really amazing so far.

So basically think reggae beat but instead of the same thing over and over, every two or three loops, are power chords, and solos.

If this will work out i have no clue lol i hope it does tho.

Nah but seriously, you're not the first to mix reggae and rock, or any genre and rock. And it's a liiiiiiiiiittle pretentious to say that the music you're making sounds amazing. But good luck.

To answer the question, each Nine Miles albums sounds completely different than the other. Although the jump between Return of the Polar Bear and Revolution is My Name is much bigger than the jump between Solomonic Polar Bear and Return of the Polar Bear.

Solomonic Polar Bear has much mroe of an ambience/chill vibe going on than the other two works. I completely love all three, but anyone who knows me here knows that I can't be completely objective when it comes to Nine Miles. :dizzy:

I might upload it later, or you might want to try SLSK

My internet is pretty slow right now so I'll try it in a while if it speeds up.

If you try SLSK join the pillows room, most people have it there. Right click rooms > Create Room > type the pillows
