I am an american Pillows fan. I didn't get into them by FLCL. Bokura no HARÊ Suisei i first heard this song in the internet. Just looking around. And i really liked it. Then i heard Beautiful Picture and i liked them. But the part i did'nt like was that i heard about them comming to america to late..i could of made the Mexico among other shows. but heard of it to late ....

 If Sawao really does hate or dislike American fans because of FLCL it's really his fault and I will tell you wry.
Past experiences with his interviews dictates that, like all artists, the only way to get your music heard is to play it. Sawao wanted the first tour to be successful so he made setlists to accomodate for the music he knew American fans would know- FLCL stuff.
The second tour he could have changed that, but he didn't. He stuck to what he thought we would like because of the reaction they recieved in '05. But I don't think he ever thought that if they played their older or not so well known stuff that we would like it, which to us is obsured, but not to him because he's very short and Japanese and they don't think the way we would like them to.
I say his fault because the pillows don't run under a democracy, it is very much a dictatorship and Sawao runs the fucking show(thank you whoever said that before me).
SO, if the case really is that he's not happy with America for that reason then he needs every inch of his ass kicked and I would be more then happy to do it.
