The same way they became famous in America?
FLCL?
And yes, there are quite a few fans in Mexico. It depends on how well this gets spread in Mexico, to see how many people actually go.

Of course, it is.
Why do you seem so surprised?
Japanese animation is not distributed strictly to the United States.

What's funny is on the FLCL commentary Tsurumaki talks about how he liked the Pillows but how they were never popular. He's then asked if they've become more popular (in Japan) because of FLCL and he says no, he doesn't think they have.

I don't think the tour poster is bad, but yeah, a poster with the jumping Sawao would be awesome.
hey, you might see my friends older sis there then yeah, send a CD or two over my way and ill see if ican get them signed for you, definetly would be an amazing congratulations gift for you (except not sure if i would send it back )
shipping cds takes money and packing. i think i'll just wait for next year, all the same. next year i'll have even more cds as well. i'm getting white incarnation for a graduation gift, and plan to get moon gold later on.
I think it's really cool that the pillows are going to play in mexico. Think about it. This means that their international popularity really is growing. they're now playing in three countries.
*listening to minami wheel show (finally)*

English is the foreign language of choice in Latin America and of course, the entire world. So that is one possiblity. However, just as there are fansub-ers here in the US, there are fansub-ers in Latin America that speak Japanese and might be translating it to Spanish. Of course, you have to consider that maybe some of the DVD's being sent over there have Spanish subtitles and the high market of bootlegs.

wow ticketmaster is a fucking ripoff. I just spent 41 bucks for a 17 dollar ticket (la show). Is it usually this expensive to buy in advance? I mean 14.50 UPS delivery? that's fucking bullshit! I bet I probably would've gotten in cheaper if i bought at the door...

Uh...you should've gotten standard mail delivery. The show isn't for another month anyway.

yup. that's crazy. It says they'll send the tickets to your home.. and even if it gets lost in the mail, you can request the info by calling ticketmaster or checking your account or whatever.
