Though I love PML and Living Field, everyone else is already voting for those, so I'm going with Little Busters. The whole thing is pefect: it's consistently paced and feels complete; distinctive, even for the pillows; Manabe gets great guitar tone on every song; Sawao's vocals are excellent; and it has some of their best songs, as well as not a single bad one.

The best part is, NONE of the songs from this album remind me of TEH FOOLY COOLY

Odd statement considering One Life, Hybrid Rainbow, Blues Drive Monster and Little Busters are just about the most prominent songs off the FLCL soundtrack.

Why are we talking about this again? The only reason this is even alive is that cracka bumped this thread during his unopposed spam-fest.

I mean that I've listened to them so much it's disconnected from the show. For me, anyway- your results may vary. And PVs help too.

Oh yeah, Jomei wins for the Rickenbacker.

Happy Bivouac is genius! Every track was a completely unique little masterpiece of pop-rock. There are bands out there that would build entire careers around a distinct sound that the Pillows chose to use for a single track on that album.

Carnival, Happy Bivouac, Funny Bunny, Rush... each track had it's own feel, not only in terms of the musical genre but in terms of the way the instruments were played and mixed. They could have called the album, "11 different ways a guitar can sound." And Last Dinosaur... man, have you EVER heard another song that sounded like Last Dinosaur?

I mean, besides That Future is Now.... (cough)
