I was listening to I Want to be Salivan, from White Incarnation (I forgot how awesome that album is) but I was curious who/ what Salivan is...any idea?

Hell yeah it is! I honestly didn't like the song until I saw it on Bubble Town...the energy they have in live shows is insane...

Salivan, or "Sullivan," is the main character is referring to the character Rocky Sullivan from the movie "Angels with Dirty Faces". (1938) In this song, Sawao talks about the story of the film.

If you listen closely, you can hear Rocky's catchphrase, "Whaddya Hear. Whaddya Say?" in the beginning of SULLIVAN ni Naritai.
