Freebee Honey, The Third Eye, TYMT, etc are now considered part of the FLCL soundtrack, right?
FLCL is the reason they have so many international fans, right?
FLCL pillows fans vs just pillows fans - I used to have that mentality, but I wanted to stop thinking like that and just be grateful I can enjoy the pillows with so many other people.
As long as I'm enjoying the show and other people are enjoying it as well, no reason for me to get disappointed (except, why no My Foot or Shiroi Natsu).

But I do get fucking frustrated when someone is disrespectful to the opening bands (e.g. complaining very loudly that ' "we" are only here to see the pillows so hurry up with your set ', groaning after the opening bands start to play a new song, requesting Cullen Omori to play Crazy Sunshine...wtf). These people are the kind of people who heckle at comedians during their standup sets. And I pretty sure Cullen Omori cut his setlist short when he felt the bad vibes from the 7/13 Irving Plaza crowd (not everyone, but certain obnoxious and loud individuals).

Anyways, I went to both NY shows, and the area around me were rocking pretty hard to Freebee Honey and The Third Eye as well as singing along especially during the choruses. But I was near the front, so a lot of people around me are die-hard pillows fans who probably waited in line for half the day. If I was in the back or on a balcony view the crowd as a whole, I'd understand what you mean.[/quote]

Yea the front crowd at Gramercy were rocking hard. I was sitting in the back this time and the people there were not hype at all. But yea, I try to avoid being snobby against the FLCL pillows fans but sometimes it rears it's ugly head

I'm so glad I tuned into that live stream last night. The sound quality was superb! And the pillows put on a great show. Was really happy to get great quality performances of Spiky Seeds and Star Overhead in full. Sawao really looked like he was having fun. During ROSS, he was doing all the motions from the music video, so that was really cool to see!

A few people recorded the stream and [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9L6JHWEbOU]uploaded to Youtube[/url], but I did happen to grab (most) of the audio. Had I known the stream would be that great, I would've started recording audio from the beginning. I got the tail end of I think I Can, and then practically all the rest except for about 5 seconds of ROSS where my stream went out unexpectedly.

I separated and tagged everything, so if anyone wants MP3, click on the link below. I really wanted some good quality files of Spiky Seeds and Star Overhead to take on the go with me, but I figured I'd just tag all the rest too for posterity's sake.
