Post Re: A History of the Songs of the Lostmen

By the way, y'all, Thomas, Mafu, and myself are combining our uber-fan powers to work on something pretty cool for you all. We're planning on bringing all the cool pillows history, trivia, lyrics, etc. together into a more organized fashion so that it can be browsed through and enjoyed more easily instead of having it all scattered about the forum and whatnot.

Long-term project, obviously, but as you can see from this thread and all the awesome info that Thomas has already compiled so far, we've got a pretty decent start on it, I think. :shred:
Sounds dope. looking forward to see what yall have planned. Let me know if you're doing anything on instruments/gear, I'd love to contribute.
To be honest, it requires such a time commitment that I'm still not even sure that it will ever happen as I had originally envisioned. However, terra has been kind enough to allow me to become an editor for the Instant Music website, so for now I'll probably put more effort into that. Though... I still haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately.

When kids it's all like "man I could totally do X, Y, and Z!"

When adults it's all like "man, I could do X, Y, OR Z, or I could sleep more than 6 hours before I gotta get up for my commute."

Good times, good times. :(

Yeah just on this, I've recently collected about 1500-2000 pillows articles from magazines, newspapers etc from 1989-2017.
So I've got PLENTY more source material to sort though. :shred:

I've spent alot of time in the middle of this year (June - July) organising dating / organising these into folders. So i have these huge compendiums of info now that are actually in order.

Yeah I'll definitely be working on some translations / digitising of these. For sure.
Will take me a little while but man there's so much info from early interviews that it's gonna start blowing people's minds. :groovin:
