This would be the bonus track (my updated version): http://ohreah.ytmnd.com/
There are bands who weren't around as long as the Pillows have been and they have bigger sets.
Really? There are bands that have box sets that are more than ten discs long?

Even if there are, I say that's WAY too many songs to be a "best of". I'd limit the set to two discs at most, and it would really be a struggle to pick what belongs at the top. Plus, as other threads have shown us, some people will have WILDLY different sets. Mine would probably go something like this:

Disc 1
01. Like A Lovesong
02. Hello, Welcome To Bubbletown's Happy Zoo
03. Midnight Down
04. Let’s See If That's True Or Not
05. Rush
06. Happy Bivouac
07. Crazy Sunshine
08. Back Seat Dog
09. Funny Bunny
10. Vain Dog (In Rain Drop)
11. Thank You, My Twilight
12. Scent Of Sweet
13. I Know You
14. Good Dreams
15. Rosy Head

Disc 2
01. Heart Is There
02. My Foot
03. Wake Up! Dodo
04. Propose
05. Ladybird Girl
06. New Animal
07. Mr. Droopy
08. Bite Me
09. Pied Piper
10. 1989
11. Your Order
12. Lemon Drops
13. Sad Fad Love
14. Limp Tomorrow
15. Doggie Howl

Granted, this isn't so much of a "best of" as it is of my favorites, but I was going for my personal taste, rather than overall popularity. If we were going for overall popularity, I'd say the best of set would just be the FLCL OST, since that's really what the majority of people seem to know about the pillows. Also, I think it's obvious from this list that I actually very much enjoy their new music (the entire second disc consists of music after Good Dreams).

If Doggie Howl had less engrishy lyrics, it'd be a better song than Rookie Jet.

I FUCKING SAID IT, COME AT ME BRO.

I disagree with this post but I realize you have a right to form your own opinions no matter how much they differ from mine.

Safer: Disc 1- acceptable. Disc 2- you would have to pay me to buy (or even download) that CD.

If I had to limit myself to 10 songs, barring popularity or variety (and also barring B-Sides since there's already a compilation):

1. The Third Eye
2. Sono Mirai wa Ima
3. ROBOTMAN
4. Kanojo wa Kyou
5. Patricia
6. Something like a Romance
7. Nowhere
8. Right Here Like This
9. Let's See if That's True or Not
10. Kono Yo No Hate Made

hidden track: Angel Fish (fat dubstep remix)

I see what you did there. You peppered in some of their worst songs. Very clever

I think one of the fundamental differences between the pillows music I enjoy is that I ENJOY the Engrishy lyrics. I really get a kick out of it, plus I enjoy the music itself. And since most of the new stuff is pretty darned Engrishy, I've been enjoying it. Although with regard to Doggie Howl, in retrospect I like the Nine Miles remix better.

Plus, I know I've been bitched at this before, for reviewing song by referencing its music video, but I don't care. The Doggie Howl video is HILARIOUS.

Actually I just chose the most random assortment of songs that I could, with none of their most famous songs and only a few that people really like (Another Morning, Hibi no Uta). I don't really dislike any of those songs except Lonesome Diamond and maybe Go! go! Jupiter and Sad Fad Love (which I don't really remember what they sound like, having not listened to them recently.)

I was hoping people would beat themselves up trying to find some sort of pattern, but ah well.
