Re: Best Album?
I'm just going to say that Nowhere is fucking amazing and is equal to, if not greater than Crazy Sunshine.
Seriously, listen to the acoustic version if you haven't, and then look at the lyrics to it. Nowhere is the No Self-control of LB.

Re: Best Album?
Remember when Sawao played it on that love song for couples show? That's the only time I liked Nowhere

Re: Best Album?
The album version has a great solo... and the intro rift is just... so powerful. Combined with the lyrics, it's a great song. I like "Nowhere".
The acoustic version is really nice as well.

Re: Best Album?
A few pages back when I saw someone talked shit about That House.. you did sawao wrong right there. It has some amazing bass work IMO (not an expert obviously, but I do have ears that work). I think boat house is much more awesome than our love and peace. Our love and peace is such a slow song compared to the rest of the album that it sticks out like a sore thumb to me.
I picked PML just because I cant give happy bubbletown's zoo a + just for being cute. to me, that's all it is.

Re: Best Album?
I can't believe anyone could even consider songs like That House, Patricia or Nowhere to be anything less then spectacular.
Little Busters is my favorite album. Though its a tough call in real meat, there are too many songs in LB that have moved me. Also I really love the innocent and innocuous feel they portray, though I will say I like the singles version of Patricia a bit more.

Re: Best Album?
Little Busters for me as well. Even though I consider Please Mr. Lostman to be the ultimate Pillows album, Little Busters was the first album I listened to and got me into The Pillows, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. One Life, Blues Drive Monster and Patricia are my favorite tracks.

Re: Best Album?
Happy Bivouac was the first album I bought, and I'm glad that it was the first, because it has so much going for it. It also exemplifies the style and genre the pillows made for themselves. Back seat dog to Kim Deal is a fucking paradise to the ears. Also.... 1,000th Post!!!!

Re: Best Album?
Happy Bivouac... That song alone is so catchy. I was playing this song the other day on my guitar while reading the translated lyrics. And when I played it in a slower tempo...I thought the pillows might have been drunk out of their minds while they made this song. Possibility? I think so..

Re: Best Album?
I voted Please Mr. Lostman. Something about it makes it different from every other pillows album, in a good way.
Actually, disregard this post. I don't even know if it makes sense myself, but high five if you can see what I'm saying. It's not a contradiction, I swear.
*high five* I know what you mean.
