Re: noodles California Tour 2009
^__^
i couldn't go to that one cuz it's 21+
BUT
i lucked out
and saw them last night at this random hole in the wall gallery called "eVocal"
i'm friends with the outline on myspace and they posted a bulletin which i just happened upon the day of.
it was awesome.
the place was just a little bigger than my living room, and the stage about 3 inches off the ground. there were only like 25 people there. we had to step back so as not to get our faces slapped buy their guitars.
i got em all to sign my belt (which is white thank goodness) cuz i forgot my cd in the car. and then this guy with a camera asked me for a comment and then when i was done told me that he designed the album artwork for SNAP. i then proceeded to ask him to write on my belt.

;
noodles were really welcoming, chatted a little in japanese.
the lady selling their stuff was really nice. when i came back to see if i could pick up another badge for my girlfriend (who was busy) yoko was just chillin there. i asked if they had any left. then she started getting it out of the boxes they already packed. i felt bad for her to go to the trouble so i let her keep the change and then she gave me another one and... it was just really cool. i did a little bow as did she and all was right with the world. so small and cute! XD
incredible environment, my ears are still ringing.
the drummer is awesome btw. "i think i'm the smallest drummer in the world"
last time i saw them i got my pictures taken with them so i wasn't that abashed that i forgot my camera.
it was more intimate this time so i didn't really mind.
the outline kicked some major ass too, and also another band called smokin' mirrors. i couldn't stay for the rest though.
A+!!!
