Recently I've found a Japanese fan on mixi that knows more about the pillows than any of us ever will. This is the lady who wrote the blog about the Hybrid Innocent tour and wrote an English entry to us. She lurks IM frequently, but doesn't post. However, she writes LOTS of very informational and interesting blog posts on mixi and her blog.

Bit by bit, thanks to this woman, I'm starting to learn more about the pillows than I thought I ever would. I'll post interesting things in here every now and then, so please don't clog it up with ridiculous comments. (Better yet, maybe I should make this unreplyable? :3 and we can discuss it in KF).

THINGS DEALING WITH THE PILLOWS:

-From the LA show where the guy hugged sawao, what he yelled:
「お前が歌いたいんだったら、お前が歌え！この野郎！！」
basically: If you want to sing, sing yourself, you ass!!
Pretty much the kind of thing we thought he was saying, but it's nice to know the actual words, lol.

THINGS DEALING WITH SAWAO:

*The song Scent of Sweet was written for a model named Yuuka, recently turned actress. The kanji for her name are 優 and 香, which literally mean "nice/gentle scent," which becomes sweet scent and then Scent of Sweet.

In the Fukuoka lady's blog, she notes that Sawao has been a fan of Yuuka's for several years and apparently would put messages that said basically "I hope Yuuka becomes a pillows fan (優香がピロウズのファンになるように)" on the Buster-kun strap and such [I haven't seen any evidence of this, I'll try to find something].
Apparently it did something, because she was seen in the audience at the show at AX on September fifth this year.

*Sawao has said that he plans to never marry.

THINGS DEALING WITH MANABE:

-During his Persia days, Manabe was called "Pisuke."
Pi being Pee, suke being a common ending to a male name.

-The nickname "Pee" may have come from friends saying his face was similar to Snoopy's. His old signature was Woodstock from Peanuts with a P.
His friends at college all called him "Pee-san."

*It's said that he decided he'd marry his wife the first time he met her. They're still married so far, so it looks like he was right. :3

THINGS DEALING WITH SHINCHAN:

-Satou is apparently REALLY smart. During his youth, people called him a genius.

*He apparently has a daughter of about 4 or 5.

THINGS DEALING WITH JUN:

As I read her blog entries, I keep finding more and more interesting things that I never thought we'd know. I'll continue to post these as they come.

As always, thanks Mare, but could you change your non-updated bullets into dashes, and the new ones into asterisks (vice versa works as well). It would be much easier to keep up tabs with the text.

I started doing some research on this Yuuka person and didn't find much. She is/was a model, but for what I can't tell. The most I can gather is that she's known in Japan for having a perfect body and big tits and she's almost always seen wearing only a bathing suit. Also, she's done alot of dvds but from what I can see they don't really have a purpose since it's not porn, just her in a bathing suit running around with her boobs bouncing.

This is and will be the most interesting thread to hit IM. I'm so grateful that most of my questions and thoughts about the pillows personal life has been answered. Like Sawao's marital status, Manabe and Shin's backgrounds, etc...

Can you give us a link to her blog so that we could read it too. Or is it all in Japanese or something? Or is it that only a certain few can read it?
