My best guess is that it could be short for 'kimochi ni naru' but that doesn't make much sense...
P.S. I am a failure and translated a word wrong, everywhere it said 'bridge' in the existing translations has been fixed to 'chorus'.
Edit: Got my answer. Apparently it means 'the important thing is'. Not short for 'kimochi'.

"kimo ni naru" seems to be "becomes the meat of" or something like that, meaning, as you got, that the important thing is whatever becomes "kimo," from what I got out of it by looking up the word lol. Glad I was on the right track, sorry I forgot to post and be helpful. DX
