Yeah, I believe I've seen it in both the Tiny Boat PV and Swanky Street PV. It looks like one of those Fender Bassman series amps.

That may be it, probably where I remember seeing it anyway... Either it's the same amp and the colors are differing for a number of reasons (age of the PVs, lighting in those videos the screencaps are from etc...) or it's different... Either way I couldn't pinpoint it for sure lol...

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
It's a Fender Deluxe Tweed, you can tell by the size of the nameplate and the cab dimensions.
Also, those look like Humbuckers in Manabe's guitar, not the Soapbar P90's he used to have.

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
I will take your word for it on the amp, it looks smaller compare to the other amp that was seen in Tiny Boat and Swanky Street. Tweed amps are smaller than Bassman amps so it would make sense.
As for Manabe's pick-ups, yeah I would think those are humbuckers too, the only difference to the look is that those pick-ups have covers.

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
The amps in Tiny Boat and Swanky Street are 4x12 Bassman Tweeds.
As for his guitar, they're covered Humbuckers with black pickup rings. Humbuckers won't fit in a P90 route (unless you use Mini's) so it's probably one of several he has.

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
When I mentioned about the Tweed, I actually meant the Deluxe series which the size of those would be about 1x12. I'm pretty sure the color of the amp in both Tiny Boat and Swanky Street PVs (well at least for the Tiny Boat Pv) was blonde.
I'm not sure what you meant by black pickup rings, to me, they are the nickel-plated pick-up covers that are covering over the humbuckers. If you watch the performance of Ready Steady Go in the video that was screen capped, during the guitar solo, you can tell that the pickups have nickel-plated pickup covers. This is what the pickup covers look like:

He meant the pickup rings, like the ones surrounding the pickup covers on this...

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
Yeah...I was reading this thread on my phone last time and couldn't see for shit. Those are definitely covered HB's, the lighting makes it hard to tell but they could be black gold or silver covers. He does have a P90 copy of the DC LP though. As for the amp, my first instinct was Blues Deville: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifie ... guitar-ampFender reissued a lot of amps in Tweed, so without reading the nameplate on the front there it's hard to tell which model it really is.
Can you see the pictures I posted?
Yes, I do, but your pictures claiming that Sawao used a Bassman confused me, since I already know that he used a Bassman in those PVs. It's irrelevant to what I was discussing about though. I was talking about how his current amp was different from the one he used in the already mentioned PVs. I was agreeing with you about the amp he uses in the TRIAL interview video was a Fender Deluxe Tweed amp, but I was trying to support your claims by providing details how wrong I was thinking that the amp he used in the said video was a Fender Bassman.

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
I'm also guessing Sawao's guitar in the tour pics I posted earlier is a Squier.
Based on all the pickups being white, instead of the usual cyclones b&w humbuckers (And the image lol)

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
I dont know if it was pointed out or not but before Manabe got his Orange OD120 he used a Marshall JCM800 and it was his main back up amp live for years til recently when he got a 2nd OD120, it can be clearly seen in One Life or any of their live tours in japan
