i'm supposed to be reading [i]the dark tower[/i] (the last book of stephen king's series). i started it, but i need a break or something. i read through the previous book quite quickly and i'm almost dreading the ending. |

The Gambler, by Dostoevsky. A rather cool book - in some ways it's rather similar to Crime and Punishment, minus the botched conclusion. It's much shorter, too. |

re-reading henrys leg by ann pilling. [i]henry hooper, 13, collects junk as a way to avoid confronting the pain he feels after his father leaves home for another woman. but when he picks up the leg of a discarded mannequin, he suddenly realizes that he is attracting attention from a gang of street thugs who want the same thing.[/i] |

I'm reading a rather large collection of orson scott card short stories, paradise lost by milton, a book by rudyard kipling(i've forgotten the name at the moment), and redwall. |
