E3
E3's starting pretty soon. Anyone else excited? This one is gonna be incredibly awesome. The Xbox 360, New Zelda, PS3, Nintendo "Revolution", Half-life 2 for the xbox, Perfect Dark Zero (finally!), and I've heard there is gonna be a lot of suprises. I'm stoked.

my friend is going. sucks that its a trade event only. i've always wanted to go.
hahahaha! perfect dark zero! i remember when it was announced for xbox. Rare fails at bring out games on time.
being a nintendo fan since being a wee lad, i want to see the revolution. i just hope they (nintendo and nintendo hardcorefanboyz) don't fuck it up. gamecube is great and all, but sometimes it makes me want to get a PS2 or xbox....

Anyone else see that Xbox 360 promo special on MTV? I caught the end of it. They showed some of the games (including Perfect Dark Zero). They all looked cool, but it didn't really seem as earth-shattering as it was hyped up to be.

I'm somewhat interested in what's going to be so "revolutionary" about Nintendo's Revolution.
Telepathic communication? Controllers made out of lightsabers? Free sushi maker? All of the above?
I'm also wondering if Sony or Microsoft can get me interested in their hardware this time around. Magic 8-ball says: SOURCES POINT TO NO.

And Nintendo anounced that only will the Revolution play GameCube discs, it'll also let you play downloadable NES, SNES and N64 stuff too.
Sweet.

Anyone else notice the concavity/convexity disparity between the 360 and the PS3? It's like they were made for each other. It seems the mini GBA wants a little bit of that PS3 action as well....
But that PS3 controller.......yikes. It's like Microsoft's Sidewinder, except even more phallic.
The link to the Revolution doesn't work for me, but I saw it earlier. Not bad looking, but not much to it. They didn't show the controller.
I haven't heard of a game that would cajole me into buying any of them, at least not yet. I would be excited about Nintendo's downloadable games shtick, but I'm sure you need to have broadband to use their internet system, and I don't have broadband, so no old classics for me.
