really into music games, though not really into rock band or the beatles. HOWEVER. I heard that in this game, you can do vocal harmonies if you have other people. THAT IS SO COOL AWESOME! |

I love GH/RB, and I adore The Beatles, I'll get this for Wii when it launches cause I want George Harrison's guitar ![]() Also, yeah, 3 people can be singing at the same time. |
Yellow Submarine is especially epic.easy.
Why they chose Yellow Submarine to be in this game is beyond me. The best animation sequences are SGT Pepper / With a little Help From My Friends and Here Comes the Sun. ![]() |

Someone I know just got it, I may have to drop by randomly to play. I will be getting it for Wii, however it will be a group effort with my brother. I don't feel like dropping a butt-ton of money right now. |
playing drums will make you LOVE ringo. i never really appreciated him until i played his beats.
No kidding, Ringo is seriously a damn good drummer. If I hear anyone say "Ringo sucks!" ever again, I shall point them to I Feel Fine and then kindly tell them to stfu. Anyways, I played it with some friends about a week ago, and while it was physically draining, it was still full of awesome. The background visuals were by far the best part of the game (Here Comes the Sun in particular). Hell, even the intro sequence was ridiculously epic. Also, the vocal harmonies were a lot harder to pull off than I thought. |

technically he's still a pretty shitty drummer... but creatively? fuck. i still make a lot of ringo jokes whenever i play. as paul and john fought, you know that ringo said "boy i'm just happy to be here. it is SUCH a beautiful day. this beatles thing is really popular, isn't it!" |
technically he's still a pretty shitty drummer... but creatively? fuck.
What the fuck are you talking about? How was he shitty? Are you saying because he didn't play like Gene Krupa that he was technically inept? That's like saying that David Gilmour was a technically shitty guitarist because he didn't play like Yngwie Malmsteen. |

In terms of technicality, once again, I point to I Feel Fine. If Ringo was truly a shitty rock drummer with no technical skills, he would not have been able to play a complex Latin beat like that. Also, She Said She Said and Let It Be. Also, consider that Ringo didn't like to show off. That drum solo in The End? The other Beatles had to coax him into playing it, because he hated drum solos. Sure, he's no Dave Weckl, but seriously… In conclusion: Ringo was a damn good drummer, both technically and creatively. And as a drummer myself, I can safely say that anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. |

The drums are probably my favorite part of the whole song. |

I think Tomorrow Never Knows has one of the best drum rhythms in the world |

Those songs do indeed also showcase Ringo's talents. Also, the end of Dear Prudence. Also, Octopus's Garden. Also, I Want You (She's So Heavy). Hell, that song has even been called progressive rock by some. |
