SOnLive-The tech that could destroy consoles: http://pc.ign.com/articles/965/965542p1.html
Yeah, maybe in the far future when we get rid of this pesky little thing called "latency." Games that require any sort of precision are unplayable with even a little lag. |

Regardless of how it's ever looked, has a Zelda game ever disappointed? Using inductive reasoning, it should be a good game. Then again, they have been making a lot of fringe Zelda games since Ocarina of Time, and I don't have experience with all of them - but I've never heard of a Zelda fan being disappointed with a Zelda game. |

I tried the last DS one and didn't really like it, and this is a direct sequel to it, it appears...or at least it looks like the same style of gameplay. Not my cup of tea. |

I was disappointed that Hideo Kojima didn't secretly reveal MGS4 for 360. >.>;; |

Why would they release it for the 360? |
Why would they release it for the 360?
I don't know, maybe they actually want someone to buy it. |

If they start letting their exclusives slip over onto other consoles, it's game over for the PS3 (more than it already is). |

I think they should port it. For one, it's certain that the 360 would be able to run the game. Blu-Ray is only used on MGS4 because of two reasons. One: the videos and audio are not compressed, and two: blu-ray game data is multiplied on the disc in order for loads to be faster, since blu-ray discs currently read at a very slow speed. Also, I think there is no need for exclusives. For one, Sony has a whole bunch of exclusive brands. MGS is a third party title, and the games have spanned across many consoles. It's pretty weak to keep Snake, a character who was in Brawl and on Xbox and Gamecube from all of the other players, almost like Konami is fishing for console sales regardless of the fact that Konami isn't effected by console sales. Capcom has a philosophy of releasing all of their games on multiple platforms, and I think they sell fine on PS3. Exclusives damage the industry in my opinion, they create fan wars, cause games to be overrated / underrated, and halt the potential sales of games. They are also highly controlled during development, because of ties with the console's company. See: Bungie's problems with Microsoft during Halo 3's development. It caused them to break off from the company as a whole, and it also caused them to lose their own brand. |

I bet a lot of people bought a PS3 so they could play MGS4, and now they're all waiting for another game to play that isn't shit terrible. I guess there's always RE5. |

Valkyria Chronicles is really neat, though I'm not currently playing it, my brother is. It's funny/sad to see the soul crushing look in his face when he fails a mission because he left his tank rear exposed to enemy tanks. (The rear of your tank is a weak point, and it only takes one tank shell to thrash it and game over.) It's basically the same feeling you get when you stupidly lose your Queen in chess PLUS a GAME OVER screen. There is this one crazy woman on his team, Wendy I think, when she kills an enemy she has this awesomely funny crazed giggle afterwards. ![]() ![]() I was happy to see that update when I booted my wii recently. ![]() Zelda games? I don't know, LTTP was the only one of them that I'd want to play again and again. They are the shit and all when you first play them, but I don't know, I never feel like it would be worth my while to run through most of them again. Then again, I haven't played Minish Cap or the Gameboy ones like Oracle of Seasons/Ages, so it may be the 3-D Zeldas that hold the bulk of this feeling. |
