So lately I've been playing racing and fighting games. :P Since we already have a racing thread which is doing VERY well. (lol) I decided to make a fighting game thread.

So I've notice that the only ps2 games I own are mostly fighting games. King of fighters MA, 13, 2002,2001, Orochi collection, Arcana Hearts, MK A.
The only actual games are the jak games 1-3. And kingdom hearts 1-2.

I enjoy the fighting games. :shred: I own most of them for nearly all the systems. My brother bought Arcana Hearts couple days ago. It was a surprise to me. Like dude where did you learn about this game <.<? It's awesome though. The girls have big boobies. :P It's fun, but hard at the same time. The characters deal only so little damage. At the last boss is hard!

The new KOF looks just WTF. Terry looks like an overgrown roid-rager and Athena looks even worse (though NG has always been fickle with canon). I just hope the gameplay is much better than the new character designs.

I'm psyched for Street Fighter 4, sort of. I'm not competitive about it, but I like the series.

Did you ever get the HD version of Street Fighter 2? I do want it but i don't have online :cry: I love street fighter. I consider myself one of the best players here. 8)

I am a huge Street Fighter fan. I have all of the comics, the animated movies, and all of the games. Street Fighter III is my favorite game in the series, because it's really technical.

I did get SF2HDRemix for Xbox Live last month, and it's awesome. No lag, at all. I also preordered SF4 and payed it off fully.

Yeah, I'm a fanboy. :oops:



Btw, the new King Of Fighters doesn't have Mai. HOW COULD THEY LEAVE OUT MAI?

King of fighters 13 didn't have mai either ;) Until the console version came out. I love king of fighters. My main is mostly Iori, or K' or Ash, Kyo is alright. In maniax Rock is my main. I have most of the king of fighters games. I've beaten all of them also ;) I don't really care much for the story though. Some guy makes a tournament, people enter it, in the end the person who made the tournament reveals that he used the KOF tournament for his evil doing. OMG the winners are shocked (lol)

I can't wait for street fighter 4. I kinda feel blah abou the fact that's it's 2.5d gameplay. I'd love to see some sprites. You never get tired of a well drawn sprite. EVAR. :happy: :happy: :happy: :happy: :happy:

I have it (Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom) and it's really awesome. REALLY easy (3 attack buttons that are both punch AND kick) but so over the top and awesome.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is the great tragedy of fighting games. I'm sure it IS a great game, but the decision to not release it on PS2 (or PS3 or 360 for that matter) is just a shame. This is coming from a Wii owner.

Fighting game fanatics do not own Wiis, they own PS2s. They play Marvel VS. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. Some play Guilty Gear. Some with 360s may be gearing up for Street Fighter 4. Yes, the Tatsunoko arcade machine's hardware is based off of the Wii architecture, but...God, it's going to be unplayed by so many people who would LOVE to play it.

I'd buy it if it were for the PS2. I'm not buying it for the Wii because my friends don't have Wiis, therefore they won't even spend much time with the game. Sigh.
