And i can't believe that the one i bought can't play ps2 games in it yet it can play ps1 games. Not that i mind it. But i never owned a ps2. Just an xbox. But i also bought the Orange box. And Portal. Is the best game i have played.

The puzzleness in it. The whole creating portal things. It's wo0o0o0ow
I like it. I can't wait to get MGS4 and that's practically about it. Any one else own a ps3? And has good recommendations?

I don't own one, but I HAVE to get it before GT5 come out. In the mean time, I highly recommend GT5 Prologue. (if you like racing sims)

EDIT2: I rented COD4 last weekend, and it was awesome. A must get if you are into shooters, don't have a good enough comp to play it on, and don't have it for 360.

I don't have dsl. Yet. And might be getting it later this year. So when i do. I'll be sure to give it to you. And when i get more online games. The one i say i currently have is Team Fortress 2.

I bought the 40GB one too, but I already knew that it couldn't play PS2 games. I already have a PS2 and I don't think I'll use up all the HDD, so I went with the cheaper one.

Anyway, the first game I got was Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Although I have Ninja Gaiden Black and bought Ninja Gaiden when it first came out, I still loved the game. The same day I downloaded the Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. I love Tekken, but the Online is just as I thought it would be, garbage. The lag is ridiculous, even with all green bars. Performing just frame moves is near impossible, other then luck. I don't really care about Soul Calibur, never really got into it. At least not the the extent I have with Tekken. Then I bought Dynasty Warriors 6, I bought it because it's Dynasty Warriors. Then I bought GT5: Prologue, fucking love it. I didn't notice it at first, but holy shit, Ferrari? About time, now we need Porsche(RUF just doesn't cut it) and Lambo. But just in the prologue there's the DB9, GT-R, Z06, Ford GT, Elise(would've preferred the Exige, but an Elise is fine too), 559, R8, RX-7, XK, and the list goes on. I'm waiting for GTA4 and MGS4, I already pre-ordered and fully paid for them. I'm still debating if I should get R6: Vegas 2.

I don't know if it's still available, but if you pre-order MGS4 you get a the MGS Saga DVD 2.0 which includes a key to the beta that just started yesterday. I've been playing it a lot recently, and it is definitely the best online multiplayer game for a Sony console since SOCOMII. MGS4 will definitely be a contender for Game of the Year.

I find it rather funny that you can create a portion of your ps3 to fit ps2 game saves. WHY??? would you want to do that. If you can't even play the ps2 and having your saves in the ps3 will be useless wasting up memory. I actually want to get MGS4 the most. I've seen the trailers and such it looks awesome. And i have played MGS already. I was thinking of replaying all of them. Been a while since i've actually played one. I was looking at the ps3 games list and i found some that i might get. Enemy territories quake wars is a YES. Also Elder Scrolls 4 oblivion. I have the 3rd one but hated how i'd loose my save after saving it numerous times. (xbox version)

Some games, like the Suikoden series, allow you to use the saves from previous game to get bonus things. For example, using a Suiko I save in Suikoden II allowed you to get the protagonist from the original in the second. The third one was bullshit, just increased stats, maybe. In IV, if you used a save from 3, you could get Ted, who was in the original Suikoden. Ted's probably the strongest character in Suikoden IV (Ted and the original protagonist share the same special ability which I won't spoil here.) I haven't played Suikoden V yet. <= (

I got a PS3 last Monday. I own Soul Calibur 4, Orange Box, LittleBigPlanet, and will be owning Mirror's Edge the day it comes out, as well as the Special Edition Street Fighter 4. Got both of them reserved so I can get my Ryu bandana and my Runner's bag for them.

Played through most of story mode on LBP last night. Pretty damned fun game. Sackboy is darling. My favorite costumes so far consist of a Daler Mehndi look-alike as well as a Sombrero wearing, long moustached, pancho-wielding, Minotaur hooved, bad ass sunglasses wearer.
