 Which Media Player do you use most? S'up sons?
I like to use Winamp because it has a solid equalizer, and a shit-ton of third party support which enables me to listen to tons of different file types. It's also pretty customizable and versatile.

Amarok for music, Totem/MPlayer/VLC for videos.

VLC for video.
But protip: You know how VLC shuts the video down when you try to scan back and forth in an FLV video? The program Nice Player doesn't do that. Consider it.

I am sure iTunes is fantastic on its native operating system (OSX), but it is an extremely bloated resource hog on Windows. There are several better alternatives on Windows (most notably WinAmp), and I am sure there are even several equivalents available to OSX. Even still, I was using iTunes on Windows, before Windows died and I switched to Linux (due to the lack of Windows CD's I brought to college). Now I'm on Amarok, and except for the interface, it's the best player I've ever used (and it has that Last.fm support - although I think that's pointless, since the only feature I use is the Scrobbler, and Last.fm provides free software for that).

Re: Which Media Player do you use most? I use VideoLAN (vlc) for videos and Winamp for music. VLC will play just about any type of video, and let you select from multiple subtitles settings and audio equalizer presets. It's really great!

vlc plays every form of media ever invented. you could stuff a canvas painting in the disk drive and vlc would smile and giggle, greedily.
