 MP3 Players
What rocks? What sucks balls?
I personally had that m230 Sansa mp3 player and it was pretty kickass for being under 100 bucks a few years ago. Came with an equalizer and an LCD screen with backlight display.
I'm going to upgrade soon though.

iPod blows. period. They're over-priced pieces of garbage. I've gone through two of those things, both of them broke after about a month of use. Same problem with each one. During the middle of a song, it would suddenly flip to another song, then freeze up. I'd wait for the abttery to die (You couldnt even turn it off) and turn the thing back on after charging it. The sad face icon would appear.
There is absolutley NO customer support with these things. You can't call Apple. All you can do is post your problem on this shitty internet forum and hope someone knows how to fix it. I took it to get it fixed, but they couldn't because it had "HP" printed on the back.
Interesting fact, though. I got really pissed one time when I got the sad face, so I threw it as hard as I could on my carpeted floor, and it worked again for about a week.
I finally gave up on the iPod and bought myself a COBY 20 gig. It was only $160 (Where as the iPods I bought were about $100 more, even though they offer the exact same features.) and It's awesome. Haven't had any problems, and I've had it for about half a year now. If you want something small, Creative has some really good shit for under 100 bucks.
My friend has a dell DJ 30 gig, it's beautiful. He hasn't had any problems with it at all, and he's had it for over a year now.

Are you sure you got an iPod? Are you sure you didn't just pretend you had an iPod?
I've had my first 20GB iPod for an entire year before I deemed its capacity insufficient and got myself a 60GB, which has lasted me flawlessly to this day. That's not to say other people haven't had problems with their iPods, but they simply called (yes, called) customer support and got their iPods replaced with a refurbished one.

iPod. Mine's survived a year of abuse. So far...
915 is one less than 916. Happy time.

iPods are superior. Girls assume guys with other mp3 players are gay. I learned that from being alive. And never owning anything other than an iPod.
conclusion:I'm not gay.

iTunes, at least for Windows, is one of the most bloated dysfunctional pieces of software I've ever used. Fortunately there's other ways to put files on an iPod.
Which is one thing that really bugs me about them - the inability to simply copy files over in Windows, and play them.
At the same time, I love my iPod and really haven't seen a lot of products with comparable capacities. I bought mine refurbished, so it didn't cost as much.

i think if you open the ipod directory and unhide the folder you can access the files...but they are in no order and i think there are like 4 folders or so to open. im sure thats one way.
