Final Fantasy VI
I picked this up for GBA earlier this week for something to waste time with over spring break, and it has been a very fulfilling purchase thus far.

One of the two Final Fantasy games I've played, I quite enjoyed it. Though I don't remember too much about it. And, yeah, Terra's cool. Kefka's probably the most wacko/insane villain I've ever seen, too.

I think this game is much more fulfilling when you h4x it so you have all the Espers at the start. Not for the spells, but for the stat gainage.

Excuse me for not waiting outside the store on the release date.
But definitely get this. IMO it's the best Final Fantasy. AND it's terra! Maybe we should stop fighting all the time on here so she'll visit us once in a while. :[

I always gauge RPG's by storyline, cutscenes, etc., since I think the gameplay is always boring and tedious, especially when you have to do it twice because you died or something.
That said, you guys think playing this would be worth it for me? I liked VII, IX, and X for the reasons I mentioned above, but something seems unappealing - in graphics and depth, at least - going too far back.

It's up to you really.
I think it's kind of stupid as hell when you have to reunite everyone in your party after the world goes boom. Especially if you find out that you fucked up with Shadow. What a bitch.
Honestly, if you really want to play it, I'd just say emu it. That way you can boost frame rate and fuck with the game all you want.
Does the new one contain extra stuff, anyone?

Two extra dungeons after completion, I think four new Espers including Jumbo Cactuar and Leviathan, maybe one or two more. Gogo can use other characters skills, like blitz, tools, sword tech, etc, as well as Mime attacks, basically making him awesome in that he has the option to attack without miming. I think the battle arena has different stuff to win. Possibly more, that's what I remember reading.
