Anyone here know anything or have opinions about US Cellular or Verizon Wireless? |

I use Verizon Wireless. You can do things like call people. |

I use Verizon Wireless, I've only had it for a year though. Seems to work just fine. I haven't had any problems with the company. |

I've had no problems with Verizon as far as service goes in the 3 or 4 year that we've used them. One benefit is that all calls to other Verizon users are "free." Their phone selection is disappointing though - It's basically a Chocolate from LG or some bulky off-brand flip phone. |

You should be able to get a phone from pretty much any big-name mobile telephone company... The best benefit is the unlimited calls/texts/picture messages to other Verizon users, if you subscribe to said services. If you're in a high-Verizon area like me, it's a godsend. I crank out up to 10,000 texts a month (sent + received). |

I wanted to go with Cingular pretty bad, but the coverage in my area is sorta patchy, and I was determined to find a provider who covered just about all of Iowa. Which pretty much narrowed it down to US Cellular or Verizon. I went with US Cellular in the end because I read about the way Verizon cripples their phones, and I'm morally opposed to dicking with technology like that. Plus they had the AIDS phone, so I figured my purchase would in some small way benefit a good cause. Yes yes, I see the jokes coming. I will, in fact, enjoy my AIDS. |
