Resident Evil
Resident Evil 5 will be released for the PS3 and 360.
Another reason to hate PS3 and to buy PS3.
Yeah...anyone planning to get RE4 for the PS2?

I already have RE4 on Gamecube. I've beaten it in 13 hours. The best RE game ever.
Also, I think RE5 will also be on the Revolution. They're just waiting to see what kind of controller it's going to be.

Yeah, I borrowed the RE4 from a friend, but I didn't get a chance to finish it. I mean when I got to the castle and saw those *argvhnkasfdbjabfajhwu* priests, I fucking freaked. I want to get a chance to finish it when my friend visits. That game is the shit.
i really hope RE5 is going to be released for the Revolution. I mean..I do not want a PS3...seriously. Chris Redfield (? I think that's his last name) is the main character. Whoo

RE2 is my favorite. I actually haven't beaten any game past that.

I'm on my fifth round of RE4. Let's just say my guns are ridiculous. I beat the game in like 8 hours last time.

I love that list.
What do you think about the new laser gun that's going to be added for the PS2?

I haven't been paying that much attention since I don't care about PS2 right now. It doesn't sound that exciting. Not Explosive enough.

Gamecube is the way to go with RE4. The game is get amazing. I played it trough four times and let's just say I never replay or even finish half of my games. I have all the guns fully upgraded after playing Mercenaries for the longest time.
Resident Evil 4--"Player is a Special Forces agent sent to recover the President's kidnapped daughter. During the first minutes of play, it's possible to find the corpse of a woman pinned up on a wall--by a pitchfork through her face."
I guess this was on the description by some parental group. I thought it was hella funny.....

The GC version of RE4 bothered me a bit...Mostly because I'm not used to the GC's control scheme (I don't use it very often.), and the Playstation controller has become such a habit for RE players in the first place that it's probably more comfortable for most people. I'm not as much a fan of any other system than Sony's PS/PS2/PSP, but this system loyalty isn't for no reason-- Other than the GBA, they just have the most games I like.
...Anyway. The PS2 version of it has a few nice extras, and I must agree with PSM in finding it to be -the- version of the game to own. [Shields against hordes of Nintendo diehards?]...As far as RE5 on the 360, I'd like to know where you found the news, Hybrid. I new it was coming up for the PS3, as Capcom had released a few screens of its graphics production. I've been a bit out of the loop (No internet at home until I can pay the bill tomorrow, sadly, and it's been a few months.), so PSM's November issue was my last peek.
Also, in the first place, I'm glad the RE story changed from the standard, but even after waiting so long, I think they could've put a bit more story arc into what is a very fun game to play but very frustrating if you're trying to indulge in the script. The shades of Ada's actions and mentioning of Wesker continuing his activities with HCF after Code: Veronica make it worth playing in that respect however. The changes to the battle system are a double edged sword in my opinion, they just need a little work. The Ganados not being so stupid is a good change, but the Las Plagas deal is a bit too out there...Beginning to go towards a fantasy sort of setting here, which I also felt detracted from the overall effect. It felt a bit like Guilty Gear Isuka did to me, or the same with GG XX#Reload in their series, the in-between places to test new ideas and make some money on the side while gathering ever important gamer feedback.
With that in mind, RE5 should be slick. Good to see Chris again, too.
Still though, I'm going to have to go with RE0 as my favorite. It's the game that I finally enjoyed enough to buy the GC instead of playing my friend's, and will likely always top my list.
Cheers, zombie fans.

^Is there any way you can make scans of that article? I want to see the exact reasons why PSM said that the PS2 version is better.
