This "back-to-the-roots" stuff really does not attract me. Previews in the whole internet seem pretty enthusiastic about it, but all I can honestly say is "meh".

It's TBA announced for USA/Europe/Japa. And it's a WiiWare title, they usually go anywhere between 5 and 15 dollars. I have no idea how much this one will be.

I honestly can't be that excited about it. I mean it's a game that looks outdated. Not that it's wrong, but it might somehow be as though fans created the game. Even though that's how most megaman games were. I wont expect anything great. I miss the X series. Before the series got ported to the PSX it was way better. I like the first 3 megaman x games.

If you don't like the old school Mega Man games that can kick your ass then you won't like this one. Inafune even said that he think it can surpass Mega Man 2.

Obviously this is made for the true Mega Man fans and not the casual Mega Man players. I'm super excited about the whole thing. Besides, Rush is back.

I enjoyed the old classic megaman games. I own them still for the NES And I even bought the anniversary collection for the xbox. I just don't really think having it be that "classic" is a good thing. I mean there are a lot of fan made megaman games online as is. Seeing this one being like that might not be that good. If they somehow have it seem as though it hasn't been change. Or if they make it better with just 8 bit graphics seems blah....

So youre saying because fans have "made" Mega Man games this is nothing to be excited about. From what I've read on your posts you just like high end gadgets and cant appreciate more simple things. You are completely missing out the point for this but whatever, I won't try to convince you.

All I know is that I'm super excited. I much prefer the 8-bit Mega Man games over the garbage 3D X series. I like the first few X entries though, but nothing compares to the old school ones.

I honestly prefer old school games over todays's. Mostly because they are simple. Sonic for the genesis was mostly running around from on screen to the other. Now a days. You get stopped by some monster, or long loading times. I just finished playing my snes I enjoyed the megaman games that were 2d the x series the first 3 atleast were AWESOME. After the psx ones. It got a little to easy. Then they it just died for me -.- The legends series seemed silly. Nothing megamanie in it. The battle network series shouldn't be called megaman.

I was just saying that they might end up screwing this if they don't make it right. It could feel like just a fan made game. Like capcom fighting evolution. It's a bad fighting game. Not bad is in OMG I CANTZ PLAYZ IT. More in the lines of ITS JUST 4-5 CHARACTERS FROM EACH SERIES THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO GIVE THEM MORE MOVES ETC. It seemed like a bad mugen port <.<

But i'll still buy megaman 9

I liked the X series up 'til X5. I haven't played X6+, but I figured it was retarded with how they killed and brought back Zero... Shit sons, the whole X series was built up for X to fight Zero. Meh.

Uhh... I don't think I'm a fan of the old-school Megaman series as Kaze, but I really liked X4 for the PS and Megaman & Forte for the SNES. This last one was one of the best SNES ROMs I had.

I remember playing x6. If i remember coreclty is the one where you have to safe people now. And x is still alive. I never passed it. It just got really annoyin and repetitive. And the story was just to confusing to actually follow. I gave up on it.

I remember they made a RPG megaman. I honestly enjoyed the fighting megaman game. THe one in the anniversary collection.

Personally, MM3 and 4 were my top favorites. MM2 had the most amazing (for my child mind) Wily final boss twist, so mega points for that. If Mega Man 9 fits the feel of 2-4, I'll be so glad.
