Not too familiar with Mac's OS, but I'd take any oppurtunity to get one and learn from start.

My crazy Czechoslovakian uncle up in Chicago has one of the new iMacs with the massive 27 inch widescreens - beautiful machine. He lets me mess around with it whenever I'm up there and I got the hang of it really fast. (I did have a mac back in the early 90s though) Garageband was fun.
A question for you "users" out there though. Seeing as the new macs come with Intel processors, does this mean that if you create a partition for windows you can play any windows-based game on it? ie: Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2.
I'm seriously considering a black 13inch MacBook if my Sony Vaio S ever craps out.

yea you can create a windows partion, using BOOTCAMP, saw someone playing FEAR on the Macbook Pro a couple of weeks,
sony SZ that machine is a beauty, now only if sony gets smart again and thinking again they could be the company they used to be...

I like the new SZ series, but I like my S360 even better. It's tiny yet has a Radeon 9700, which allows me to play pretty much any game out there, even HL2 on high settings

I think he means that before, you basically couldn't play anything on a Mac. Since gaming is such a fuggin' huge deal to a large populous of people who buy PC's, it's only logical that Macs would pick up on it and actually play games.
Times have changed means, "Holy shit, IF the day has come that Macs can play games THEN... Mac no longer = usless!" <-Math skillz, on the rillz, biatches.

how about you use linux for a year then buy a mac so that you're a mac user who actually knows how his computer works  DD
