 Japanese Text Display in iTunes? What's up?
I have no problem viewing Jap. text in IE or Firefox, but for some reason my non-romanized songs in iTunes show up as jarbled nonsense or [][][][][]s. I tried doing a google search, but to no avail. I know I'm not the only iTunes user here, so any help would be much appreciated

my japanese text displays no trouble.
i think i installed it with japanese language at first, then installed in english. that might be why, but i doubt it. i think it should be compatible with no trouble.

Wow, that was quick! I may just try that if I still have an old installer around; don't care for iTunes 7

you have the internet. you can always download. and it's usually easy to find an old version of something on the official site...i think.

I have the American iTunes, not the Japanese one and it displays all Japanese characters just fine.

I got one as a gift for Christmas 2003. I kept trying to break it by "accidentally" dropping it because I hate iPods and wanted to get the new Creative. By 2005, the battery was completely toast - while I was away my mom or somebody sent it in to get the battery replaced, but mine had an engraving on the back, so they had to give me a NEW one and engrave it. I hate it, but it still works perfectly
I actually kindof like it now kuz all my friends and have their fancy 9 terrabyte super lazer video iPods and then I whip out my ugly piece of shit that can do everything theirs can, except watch videos - who the fuck wants to do that?

I really hope you're not serious about intentionally breaking your ipod, since it was a gift.
