 language bar i can't find mine. like it seriously fucking is gone. i have no clue what happened, as i'm sure it was there at first, but now that i see what it's for, and am looking for it, i can't find it anywhere. i keep going to my language options and telling it to display the fucking language bar, but it won't.

Yeah, you're a serious noob. Everyone knows about partitioning. In fact, I even have to separate drives entirely, but that's a whole nother story.

I know ABOUT partitioning, i just don't know how to partition. i'm considering going to the IT people here and saying "GIVE ME MY LANGUAGE BAR!!!"
and then just let them fix it...

i already found my way through all that stuff two days ago by myself. i think i'll try setting japanese to my default and see if it works...

I did that once so I could play some game, then I ended up not having the game and just having Japanese as my default language for two or so months out of sheer apathy and laziness. I finally changed it back about a month ago.

yes. i already looked. if i put my laptop in standby, i have the language bar by my login thing (sort of, it says "EN" and i can switch it to japanese), but it will not show up after i log in...and it only does that^ if it's just come out of standby...
